Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I just have to share...
I just posted this on the DW board too so for those of you that still check in there, you might be reading this twice but I am so excited I just have to share with everyone!!
We had our AHR on saturday and it was at MIL's family friend's restaurant so we were getting a pretty good deal. Everything turned out great and everyone had a blast. As most of you know, i lost both of my parents when i was pretty young (17 with my mom and 25 with my dad) so DH and i were trying to pay for everything ourselves.
We paid for the DW ourselves but we had to cut some things out to be able to afford other things we wanted. DH's parents said the whole time they would contribute some towards our AHR but wern't sure how much. We told the owner of the restuarant that we would pay him sometime this week because we literally were going to have to open some cards to help us pay for everything on sat. DH's parents ended up paying for EVERYTHING on sat and then we were going to give them a check on sun. They came over on sunday and told us the total (which was more than we were planning...we have a lot of friends and the liquor bill alone was $3500!)
They told us to give them a check for what we could afford, etc. DH and i went upstairs to figure out our money, etc. and we wrote a check. He gave it to his mom and she ripped it up in front of us and told them our entire wedding was a gift to us from them. DH and i were so shocked we both started crying, so they both started crying. They are just amazing people and i am happy to be a part of their family!
