Uggg, my Dr. is making me wait until Aug. 31 for an u/s. She said she is very happy with my numbers and thinks they just took the first blood work way too early. She says there is no reason to be concerned at this point.
I think I'm only upset because they said the same thing last time, they were very happy with my numbers and there was no reason for concern and then at my 9wk u/s things still turned out bad. I'm just so scared that the same thing is going to happen this time.
Re: U/S not until Aug. 31!
You've got tonnnnnns of prayers/thoughts/vibes/dust with you this time though, so that's good! We'll keep it up all the way through that u/s date and beyond!
Yeah, I tried this on the phone this morning. The nurse insisted that because my numbers are good and the bleeding stopped and hasn't restarted that there is no reason to be concerned.
I will say that last time I was much more crampy and had on-and-off spotting quite a bit last time and since that first spotting this time, I've had none and I have had no cramping this entire time.
I cannot imagine how frustrating it must be. The waiting would drive me insane, but it will be here before you know it.
I don't want this to come off the wrong way, but if your not having anymore bleeding maybe the doctor feels that an u/s is just not necessary right now. If you are only 4-6 weeks along and if you did have an u/s nothing may show up and then it would stress you out even more.
I also think Dr. P is a little more laid back in her approach to things which is probably why she isn't jumping the gun right now for an early u/s even considering your history.
I've been thinking about you every day though!! Praying for a sticky baby.
Yep, this is exactly what I said about Dr. P. I said to Ryan that I think she is of the mind that if you are going to lose it, you will lose it either way, so might as well wait and get a really good u/s. I know full well that what is bothering me is the anxiety of what happened at my u/s last time.
Back at ya!
Oh boy, do I hope you're right!
That is majorly frustrating. Try to stay busy. It will be here before you know it.
regardless of the Docs view of if your going to lose it your going to lose it, its your body and your life. if you want another u/s you need to be firm with them and tell thatm bc of your history you are not going to spend an entire month in fear. i know it sounds bitchy but really it is your right as a patient. i honestly can not believe that with what your history is that they are not doing an u/s. they will be ablee to tell now if everything is where and how it should be at this moment. so if it you really want them, you need to call again and tell them and not let them talk you out of it bc of what they think.
Oh and still a ton of sticky thought coming your way!
