How to cook? all of my recipes come from my grandma and mom, everything else is self-taught
How to ride a bike? I taught myself. I wanted to ride my sister's 2-wheel Peaches 'n Cream Barbie (gag) bike. I was too short to get on it. I remember one evening, my sister and mom were at ballet (my lessons were another day) and dad was inside watching Law and Order or something. I got up on the cross tie in the front yard, climbed up on the bike, rode to the end of the street, hopped off (afraid to turn on my own), walked it back, and repeated until I felt like I could ride on my own. An inch or so later I could get on the bike without a step
