I'm waiting for a tree service to come give me a quote to remove that huge limb. It is getting closer and closer to the roof so hopefully this place gives a good price and we can get it schedule. I don't know if it can last through a strong storm.

We had a whirlwind weekend. My parents arrived in town right after work on Friday. Then on Saturday we all went to Chicago to help my brother move into his new apartment. We returned mid-afternoon on Sunday. It was a fun (for the most part weekend), but definitely not relaxing.
I'm procrastinating doing any real work (which is really bad b/c I have a lot to do). Part of this procrastination has been checking FB frequently for an update/pics from KerCo. Haha.
The Groupon for GR today was 6 sessions of laser hair removal for only $99 instead of $890... so I caved and got it. I've been wanting to get it done on my bikini line for-freaking-ever, but have been too scared to bite the bullet. I figured I would never find a deal as good as this, so here goes! I'm giddy excited/nervous about it. Weird.
GVSU - that sucks about work! I don't have kids, but can only imagine what it's like not to some time during the day to yourself without having to work/do things around the house.
D&M - how are things going for you? (If you don't mind talking about it... I've been thinking about you!)
Nope, I went last time. I thought I made good contacts but haven't heard anything since then.
We were at my parents house from Wed through last night. It was my grandpa's 90th birthday and I'm family-ed out. Party Th, Sat, and Sunday.
I'm on the computer now because Jim is taking the day off to finish his thesis proposal. He'll be driving it to the profs house (in Grand Blanc!) in a few minutes to get it there on time. Holy procrastination!
I can't imagine trying to move in a new house and get it fixed up.
I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed with the little stuff that is piling up at our house. I need a good 2-3 hours to clean out our back storage room. I also need to get Brian to agree to sell some stuff.
I also need to "spring" clean the entire house. I'm thinking of shipping the kids off to my parents in Sept for a few days, hire some help, and do a power cleaning.
Holy smokes!! That is crazy. Tell him to wave hello to my parents on the way past their house.

blah!!! I just checked my calendar for work and noticed I have my yearly review scheduled for Wednesday. I HATE review times, hate them with a passion. Plus we are in a pay freeze so I don't have that "well at least I can find out what my "raise" is" at the end of the review.
I dread review time. We just get a call to come to bossman's office - no warning. Ugh. This year we actually get raises, and my review wasn't awful.
