Minor grumbling

It is foffing 102 outside, and the heat index is over 110. I am so tired of being hot. The air conditioning just can't keep up. I was dripping sweat in the 90 seconds it took me to get Ethan from the doctor's office to the car. DO. NOT. LIKE.

It's always hot this time of year, but this whole summer has averaged 2-3 degrees hotter than normal, and it's supposed to be over 100 this entire week. I'm going to lose my mind. The low at night is seriously only about 82ish now.

Oh my god. Seriously. I would die. How are you coping?

  • sucks to be you.  I would be dead if my AC broke
  • our second floor (which is really just our bedroom) has a separate A/C system, so we're pretty much living up there. Plus I'm at work right now. And I'm considering not going home. But it was 87 in my living room when I left this morning. I can only imagine how lovely it is in there now.

  • It's been hotter everywhere this summer. I effing hate it, as evidenced by my "my living room is 90 degrees" breakdown 3 weeks ago.

  • I would seriously stay in a hotel if our air conditioner broke.  Thank god you have a separate unit.

Going outside makes me want to die.

  • We have a window unit in the nursery, so we can actually keep that room cool. Sometimes, I crank it up really high and go hang out in there. There's a nice comfy chair for reading.

  • boxer do you have someone coming to fix it. you need toi be on that

This.  If my air is broken past 6pm, I'm in hotel.  No questions.

It is f'ing miserable outside, I agree.

  • H thinks he can fix it.  He's on his way home from work now to try. We'll see how that goes, but if it doesn't work, I'm calling the repair guy tomorrow.  My MIL is coming to stay on thursday, and it HAS to be fixed by then. I can't handle 5 days of hearing about how the humidity affects her bones.

I would respond to this post in the negative, but I'm afeared doing so would bring triple digit temperatures my way and I'm enjoying the weather we're having.

if your AC isn't fixed will she put herself up in a hotel room instead?  that'd be a tough decision to weigh

  • If my AC isn't fixed, could I offer to let her stay in my room, where the AC works, and go stay at a hotel myself? probably not, huh?
