On Thursday, a classmate from college who married a woman in my high school class, disappeared for 24+ hrs. He has a wife and 3 little children, the youngest was born only a month or two ago, who are in Michigan with her family. His family (parents/siblings and wife) who lives in my hometown in PA, where he had been visiting, had not heard from him and through the wonders of Facebook spread the word quickly about his disappearance and were searching for him. I found out yesterday morning that his car had been found outside a local hospital (in PA) but no sign of him. The hospital had been on lockdown after discovering his car and they ended up finding him early this morning in a dumpster, and he had taken his own life.
I had no knowledge that he had some mental disorder like either depression or bipolar, but apparently he did. I feel so sad for his wife and three adorable kids he left in this world. I just needed to vent some of my sorrow for his family. I can't imagine what that must be like- and what do you tell your children in her situation. Please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you ladies for listening.

Thanks ladies for your T&Ps. His wife at this point is truly being surrounded by angels because her facebook posts are so well grounded. She has strong faith in God and that along with her huge support system of family, friends and the community we lived in I believe will help her through this.
Just to give you a glimpse of her, this is her post after her FIL posted the notice of his passing:
"He always wanted to be a normal guy, he will be working on that now. It is tragic that he was not able to see that he could have done that here with us. I am taking care of myself and being present in this incredible grief. I feel him close and he is feeling this with me. I feel that the Lord is right here"
I just thought after reading this, she is really an amazing person. I feel so lucky for myself, and wanted to remind you ladies how lucky we all are to have our DHs, and remember to treasure our time with them.
