  • Oh how on earth did I forget about college football?  You are (as usual) so right.  Now I really am stoked for fall.
  • Definitely football. And being able to sit outside and not sweat to death, bonfires with family & friends (if we make it back home), soups & chili for dinner

  • Fall is my most FAVORITE season.  I love the leaves changing, the chill in the air at night, the smell of bonfires and grills burning, no horrid humidity, and college football (Georgia specifically).

Last year we got SCREWED on the Fall part.  We had a bunch of snow get dumped on us 4 days after the leaves started to change, in early October.  That pretty much killed the fall foliage.  I am holding out hope that this year is better.

  • I'm still planning to soak up a lot of summer here! I've at least got another month, right? I mean, it is only Aug. 3.

But I do love fall, probably my favorite season. I love going to the orchard and picking apples, drinking mulled cider, watching football. I think it's also the best season for getting outside -- I love going to the beach in the fall, bundling up and watching the sun set.

  • I love the Fall! Pretty much everything about it. The food, the air, the clothes, the things on TV, the activities outside. I can hardly wait!
  • Hoodies!

    Football

    Apple orchards (apple dumplings specifically)

    Pumpkin Patches

    Crock pot dinners

    Halloween!

    Haunted Houses

The anticipation of the holidays coming up :)

I'm excited for all the fall shows to start back up too.

  • Being able to step outside without breaking a sweat (although it will be close to October before that will happen here).

    Routine

Soups... so easy and great leftovers.

Baking!  It makes the house too hot to really bake in the summer.

and... FOOTBALL!!  It's our year- I FEEL it in my bones!
