Hello Neighbors! ;)

Hello, hello! I'm not really new to the nest, but I'm new to the Oklahoma board. I've posted a few times here before, but this is my first official introduction.

About myself: I'm 24, married my H (He's 28) on 3/1/2008. No kids, don't know if we ever will have them. We're undecided anyways. I work full time as an office manager and go to college part time in Tulsa. I know my degree will be math related, just unsure if I want to teach it or if I want to major in Accouting. H and I love to travel. We go somewhere big at least once a year. Next year we're hoping to do two weeks in Ireland (see siggy). When it comes to Bedlam games, I tend to root for OU, but I love both OU and OSU teams when they are playing against others.

I guess that's about it unless you have some specific questions you'd like to ask.

Re: Hello Neighbors! ;)

  • Hi and welcome to the board!

I live about 45 mins away from Tulsa in a small rural community and work at OSU. I know there are others from the Tulsa area so maybe we can plan a Saturday or Sunday get together and you can come too!

  • Hi, welcome to the board!

Ireland is beautiful, dh and I visited last year and definitely loved the countryside and driving throughout.

  • Hello and welcome!  Kudos to you for going the math route, I have a degree in math (I teach but my degree is pure math, not education) and my aunt is a CPA...we like the math in my family Smile

I noticed your ticker and just wanted to say congrats! I know losing that kind of weight is hard and takes MUCH dedication. I had to completely change my eating lifestyle last year, which led to a 73 pound weight loss. I went from 208 to 135.

    Keep up the good work!

  • Welcome!

I live about 30ish minutes north of Tulsa. I love Ireland. I'm working on getting H to agree to a week or two there in a year or so. I could totally move there.
