Recommend Your Hair Stylist
I've been unhappy with the results the last two times I went to my regular girl. I feel like she's not listening to what I'm saying.
I have super thick, coarse hair. Can anyone recommend a new stylist for me to try? I also would like to keep it under $40 a visit.

I just found a girl that I like at Salon Santa Fe in Cinnaminson and I can't remember what the cut cost (I also got my hair colored) but I think it was no more than 40. Her name is Heather and here's the site

The show was FABULOUS! He was so funny and did about an hour and a half of material. Our seats were awesome as well, second room, dead center.
Hello I am Vickie and I am a hairstylist. I work in Medford. What is it that your stylist now is not understanding? Maybe I can help you.
I have super thick hair and all the weight and volume end up at the bottom of my hair cut making it bulky and undefined at the bottom and it pulls my hair at the top so it lays flat half way through the day.
I've told her this several times, asked her to do something about the bulk at the bottom (maybe better layers) and I ask her to point cut it but she's totally spaced the last two times I've asked (and I've asked at least twice while sitting in the chair).
ETA: You can kind of see what I mean in my siggy picture. See how all the weight and bulk is at the bottom?
I work at Tranquility in Voorhees on Rt 73. I do skin & makeup but there are a bunch of great hairdressers there. I would suggest Jen, Geysha or Ashley. They're all really good!

I can see it is heavier at the bottom. Yes I do think you need more layering toward the bottom, maybe throughout. It is also so difficult to just tell from a pic. You could always come in for a consultation. If not with me ... anywhere should be willing to give you a consult so you would be comfortable.
