I bought a new car!
And I am sad about it because I need to give up my trusty and reliable 12 year old Cavalier. :-(
I am thrilled that I will now be driving a hybrid and cutting my gas costs in more than half, but soooo sad that I have to give up my car that I have had since my senior year of high school.
Yes, I am 30 years old and I have been driving the same car since a month before my 18th birthday. 148K miles on it, all driven by ME over the last 12 and half years. If I weren't having a baby, I swear I have kept this car for another 12. But it's probably not safe to put a car seat in the back of a 2 door 12-year old car with an airbag light that's been on for about 4 years....
So, I'm happy to have a new car (with power windows! and a CD player! my car still has rolll down windows and a tape deck....) but I am so sad to loose my Sheila (that's her name). She's been like a family member to me all these years!

What type of car is it? The baby's gonna be riding brand new! Nice.
