Calling all pet owners - how much do you love your FURminator?
I bought one (new of course) for our new Pom from Amazon for like $15 - I see they normally retail for like $50.
The Bump ate my signature.

DS - expected June 2013
Re: The FURminator
Great - this seems to be the consensus among pet owners that reviewed it...Pomeranians have the top coat & undercoat and ours had to be shaved when she got to her foster home due to excessive matting. We obviously plan to keep her well groomed so she can avoid that again down the line so I'm happy I ordered this!
they have a cat furminator?! I need one!
Yeah! I paid through the nose for mine at Petco, but they have them cheap on Amazon.
Hefner is the only long-haired cat I have. If you enjoy having skin on your hands, don't bring a brush anywhere near him!!! He doesn't have front claws, but he has a wicked bite!! The other cats, you can just leave a pet brush on the floor and they groom themselves with it!!!
I love love LOVE my furminator!! I bought it about 2 years ago at PetsMart and paid the full $50 for it. Oh well, we love it. Mav sheds so much during the summer its insane. He actually loves it when I say "wanna get brushed?!?!"
I would assume the cat one is cheaper since its smaller but either way, they are definitely worth it.
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
My HH loves Amazon, I emailed him and said the nest ladies said there is one for cats, FIND IT!
Its funny that this was posted. I LURVE our furminator! It's AMAZING!
But this is why it's funny. I gave the pups a bath yesterday and Petunia (Jack Russell) doesn't really have to be brushed. But Petey (lab/terrier mix) has a SUPER thick undercoat and after a bath he sheds like there's no tomorrow. So DH went to get the furminator out of the drawer and we can't find it! =( And I did pay full price for it... womp womp woooomp.
So I'm sure it's in the house somewhere but if we can't find it I will be going to Amazon or ebay to find one for less!
Daisy is shaved right now (our Pom) but once her fur grows back in...she's going to need to be brushed very regularly - she had to be shaved due to excessive matting when her foster family rescued her from the shelter she was living in.
Yeah, Amazon is great! There was no way in hell I was going to pay $50 for a brush if I could find it for cheaper!
