Ohmiga, look at your belly! I can't believe you're 32 weeks! Are you next? *squeeeeeeee*

Re: Tasty!
hehe, thanks . . . I think I am next. holy shiit.
we did a bunch of work on the house last week (well, okay, we paid my nephew to do a bunch of work on the house) and we now have a freshly painted nursery waiting for furniture to be built inside of it.
I can't believe you're 32 weeks already. Sigh. They grow up so quickly.
How have you been feeling?

I know, Coley! It seriously seems like yesterday that I was staring at a stick of urine in disbelief.
I'm feeling good . . . some morning sickness and acne (my fav two symptoms!) have come back in the past two weeks. Wasn't expecting that. But there is a big-time Mardi Gras going on in my ute pretty much every night that is just so fun and awe-inspiring. I am going to miss feeling Pickle when I birth him/her.
OH. And my placenta is right where it needs to be now. Pickle is head down and awaiting his/her debut. I couldn't be more thrilled with my body during this pregnancy.
awww, thanks so much Angie and SB! *tears up emotionally inappropriately*
some things in the last couple of weeks:
"are you sure there aren't twins in there?"
"oh! you're so BIG! are you having a really BIG BABY?" no. normal sized. "oh! but you're sooo biiiiiig!"
but really I don't mind. whatever, haters.
I get the twins question all the time. That and, "Are you sure November?" It mostly comes from men. It is making me hostile.
I don't think you are big at all.
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
See, if someone told me this I'd be like "YES! Actually, TLC will be there hosting a special about how I am giving birth to the WORLDS LARGEST BABY. Kate Gosselin will be hosting and hopefully I get my own reality show out of it. And if not, at least the placenta will feed my family for the year."

I get doubters about my due date, too. I'm sure you are exactly where you need to be, Angie. Don't pay any attention to the stupid men. All of my comments have been from women! Who have child(ren)! I'm like, um, do you remember being pregnant? Babies are big, yo.
my shower is planned for Sept. 12th . . . when I will be about 38 weeks. I'm not trying to look a gifthorse in the mouth, but for toast's sake. There's no way we'll have time to put things together and/or wash them before Pickle comes (if I make it). I am hoping to deliver at 41 weeks but you know how that goes . . .
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
Yeah, I don't know if you remember my shower at 39 weeks conundrum. I'm glad they changed it since I had him at 38 weeks.
You won't really need much for the first couple days though. Pickle will be asleep, so as long as there is a place to lay him/her and a few onesies/sleepers available you're okay.
thanks, Bethie! I don't think I look big either, and I'm sure to pop out even more in the next 8 weeks so they'll know what "big" truly is.
I have aquired my first stretch marks, too. On the back of my upper thighs. it's so weird . . . like, is my belly borrowing from back there? it's just such odd placement.
Uhh yeah, whoever is saying you look big is an idiot. You have a perfectly adorable little belleh that just wants to be adorned with henna and chanted to.
Angie, I request a picture of your giant belly full of twins.

you look amazing, i got the same comments and then the skeptical eyebrow raise when i said no twins.
and i miss him moving inside me too but all of that is forgotten now when he naps on me.
thanks Nov and Winged! next time I get a rude comment I'm coming back to this thread to bask in it.
::pouts:: my kid only wants to sleep by himself. But the smiles make anything worthwhile. The smiles and laughs will melt the hardest hard. They turn me into goo.
I think you look terrific, tasty!
I swear I still felt my son moving around waaaay after I gave birth. It was weird.
You look great, Tasty! Are names decided? whats nursery decor? what crib did you get? I HAVE QUESTIONS!

hehe, thanks again, all. I swear I am bookmarking this thread and the next person who asks, "you aren't going to give birth right here, are you?" I will direct them here and say SEE. I DON'T LOOK HUGE.
Exp, names we like are: boy, Jack Lewis; girl, Jillian Clare or Lucy ?
nursery decor: farm babies (1 wall is darker brown, 3 are "toast", matches the cows/horses, etc.) all very neutral but we wouldn't be PINKGIRL or BLUEBOY anyway.
crib/changer are from the Graco Sarah line (in cinnamon)
or make up something, like, "well it was twins but the big one ate the other one so now it's just one huge baby"
