Re: grad school
Boo!!! I'm sorry to hear that!! Your story makes me nervous... I have my life all planned out for grad school next year.... but what if something goes wrong?
What are you going to graduate school for?
I'm going for my Master's in Nursing so I can be a Nurse Practitioner.
As far as my GRE scores go, I think that they said it can take up to 6 weeks to report them to the school, which makes NO sense, because I knew my score before I left the test center, and got my scores in the mail about 2 weeks ago. I took my test on June 25th, so it was about 5 weeks ago, and the application deadline was Aug 1st. The references and the personal statement were a PITA.
So just make sure you take your GRE with at least 2 months before the application deadline and you should be set! What are you going to grad school for?

I'll be going for my Masters in Library Science, hopefully specializing in legal librarianship (working in law offices or courtrooms, etc.) I've started studying for the GRE, but thinking about it just makes me more and more nervous
Good for you to go for your nursing degree! If I could handle blood and needles, that's what I would be doing too!
I have my associate's in nursing, so I'm already a nurse and I also have my bachelor's in something completely unrelated. I'm just ready to get school over with cause I'm NOT going back once I get my master's. I'm done!! LOL
The GRE isn't too bad, though I wish I had spent a lot more time on the vocabulary. I got a 4 on the writing, so I was pretty happy with that, too. It was just weird reviewing the math concepts that I hadn't seen since high school.
