I know this is kind of a weird question...
...but can anyone recommend their mattress protector (if you use one)?
I'm so fed up with ours. It's the kind that goes all around the sides of the mattress like a fitted sheet (not this kind), like this:
The problem is that the elastic around the bottom of the protector stretches out REALLY easily - it's totally shot after about three washes, and then the stupid protector shifts around and comes off the corners and bunches up every time we roll over in bed. I've tried every brand I can find locally and they all do it - I'm seriously ready to order one from the USA (or Canada or the UK or wherever) if I can find one that won't do that.
Can anyone recommend theirs, or is this just something I have to live with?

not having tight sheets is a pet peeve of mine. hahaha my mom taught me how to fold my bed like i was in a military outfit. and when i was younger, if she wasn't pleased, she would mess it all up until i got it right. hahaha
anyway, i use this nature one from bed bath and beyond. it's a zip-up allergen free mattress protector. it doesn't have cushions on the top, but our bed has a pillow top already....

Oh I'm a tight sheet nazi too! I don't know where I get it from because my Mom didn't really care as long as it was at least semi-made, but I do hospital corners and everything.
Ooooh zip up!? Does it go all the way around the mattress? (Instead of just being like a padded fitted sheet.) I don't mind if it's not cushiony on top since we have a pillow top already too. I'm going to have to go to BBB's website and search! Thank you!
...well if you really like the sheet protectors that go all around (as opposed to others), you could try those bed sheet corner suspender things on the mattress protector and/or sheet?
we use these on our sheets and it keeps 'em nice and tight. the only issue is that sometimes it is hard to put them on the bottom of the sheet each. time. you wash, but it keeps them snug
