Just a couple pics to introduce you to M!

Re: Hello!
oh he is a handsome little guy!
And look how happy he is at home. I seriously am crying to see such joy in a face that must have seen a lot of sadness.
Congrats!

Thanks, everybody! We're doing pretty well. The transition is tough on us all, and some days are better than others, but we're making it though with many more laughs and smiles than tears or worries.
All in all, we're happy. M is in full-blown testing mode, and it's enough to really shake us to to the core, but we know this is normal and will all eventually pass, hopefully sooner rather than later. My husband's back at work, so that makes it even tougher, but we have amazing friends and neighbors who are a wonderful support.
I'm sure that before we know it, school will start, M will be learning English in leaps and bounds, and we'll all just be the family we all so desperately want to be!

Yay! I am glad everything worked out so well for you guys.
How old is he?
He's a cutie!
I'd love to hear more details about the transition if you feel like sharing, including examples of how he's testing you. Getting irritated with your kid is part of the motherhood deal. You're in the trenches now! Just wait til he learns how to say, "I need an X-Box, all the other kids in school have one" in English.

The picture signing the decree makes me smile - your H looks both relieved and immeasurably happy.
Congratulations and best wishes for a smooth transition.

Ski, I am so happy for you and hope you dont mind but I've shared your story with a new co-working this week who is just starting the adoption journey.
You all look so thrilled. I am crying I am so happy for you guys (I am also a big pVssy)
Eek! I didn't see this post until Aliza commented.
Anywho, I will just restate what everybody else has said. You all look great! He is a cutie indeed. I know this will probably sound corny, but he looks like he has a great spirit. I'm sure it is really hard, but it is so great that you can now become a family.
Good job, good luck, yippee, and yay!!!
