Honest or Stupid?

So, I got an unexpected check in the mail from the hospital/health care system I generally go through. There is no accompanying letter or indication of dates of service. Nothing. After racking my brain, I think I know why they might owe me money, but I'm not sure. If I call to find out, am I just being an honest citizen who doesn't want to mistakenly get a check I don't deserve? Or should I cash the check and stop being stupid?

Re: Honest or Stupid?

  • i would call and ask about it. what if they even owe you more?

seriously though, with medical stuff it is best to be sure

  • I actually never thought of it that way. And I'm starting to get pissed realizing that they have probably owed me this money for a year.
