Another Insurance Question
So, I decided to pursue outside insurance for DS, so he could stay with his pediatrician. Anyone have any experience with Aetna? There is also a Blue Cross plan that is a good selection, but a family friend thinks the Aetna plan is the best choice for DS (both have DS's doctor in-network).
Good/bad experience with Aetna?
TIA!
Re: Another Insurance Question
I had Aetna years ago and liked it.
I have two Aetna plans now and LOVE them! The turn around time is fast on my claims and I also love that I have an RX plan so that the drugs don't go towards my deductible.
I deal with all of our company insurance. If you want help comparing the plans let me know. I would be happy to help. BCBS is getting higher and higher with crazy deductibles in our experience.
Thank you both so much the responses! Being that our family friend doesn't reside in Oklahoma, I was concerned what the insurance companies were like here (he's an insurance guy in Washington).
I'm so glad you both recommend Aetna, and I signed DS up for the insurance today. It's the Managed Choice 1500 Open Access plan.
