if your DH had a step-brother and he had a 18 year old step daughter would you consider her your niece?
Re: riddle of the day.
Baby #2 - D&E - 10/1/10 @ 19w2d - thanatophoric dysplasia confirmed.
Charlotte Lillian will be forever in our hearts.
Baby #3 - Little Bean - natural miscarriage - 1/17/11 @ 5w5d
would it make a difference if said step-daughter doesn't live with BIL/SIL, you see her once a year (maybe) and she works at hooters?
ughh..freaken in-laws...
my family is more f'd up than that, so none of those things seem that big of a deal to me.
At least she is working.

To be honest I probably wouldn't consider her. Like Mel said at least she has a job.
Speaking of hooters did anyone see undercover boss where the CEO of hooters went undercover? It was pretty interesting.
I agree. At least she is working, but she could do better. She thinks working at hooters is awesome. But really, with the parents she has, it's a wonder she graduated from high school and has any sense at all.
I like the girl, I just don't consider her my niece...idk..maybe if she was a little kid and lived with them I'd feel differently. Anyway, when I posted that my first niece was born today BIL had public FB fit. whatever.
Well, technically, the baby is your first blood relative niece
yeah I think I would consider her. She is not technically your blood neice but she is your neice.
And about Hooters...well atleast she is not stripping. And to be honest maybe she is saving up for college or she just could not get another job. I have learned not to judge anyone if they have a job. In these times that is hard to come by!
I just don't agree, in this case. But I don't really consider my dad's wife my 'step-mom' either. it's ok, i know i'm wierd.
And in her case, no. She left a high-end, classy reataurant waitress job for hotters when the hooters opened here a few months ago and she has pelt grants for school that starts in the fall. She's lived w/ her boyfriend's parents for like the past 3 years, but that's the best place for her, really. I know the technicalities don't matter, but I'm just saying. She's young and dumb, but so was I once upon a time...like yesterday.
Carmen, you're right. I shouldn't judge anyone's job. What she does has nothing to do with weather or not I considered her my niece. Which I still don't and never will. Maybe I'm the strange one and that's ok with me!
