My second job was shut down WTH !!!
For the ladies who dont know, I bartend part-time. It is my shoe and fun money. My first job pretty much covers the bills. Well they are shut down, doors closed lights out and big orange sign on the door. WTF
I usually dont depend on that money for anything major because you can never pre-count your tips. Well foolish me starts saving for the hubby's vegas bash and christmas for the kids. Because this is all happening in december. And I now have no second income :-(. The hubby says not to worry. But I had special secret plans for his bday weekend.
Im sorry for whining, when I know that there are so many people looking for just one job. Just got sad for a second. Whining over. *Sigh*

Nope not a word. I had to text the owner and then she text back, "the bar will be closed until further notice. And I will let you know when it reopens"
From the orange sign, it looks like L & I shut them down. I heard rumors that they hadnt renewed their liquor license. But was still operating. WTH.
Uh oh! That's sounds like a whole heaping helping of trouble!

FWIW, bars/restaurants rarely give notice to employees when they are closing. They they think people will start stealing everything, or something. I was a waitress at a restaurant that closed. We were all showing up for our opening shift, and saw a sign on the door. That's it! Never any contact from management or higher ups... just a (very small) check in the mail a couple of weeks later. Apparently that's the norm.
