Anyone try "Rockin' green" soap?

http://rockingreensoap.com/

I read about it in a blog and then got sucked into and ordered some, they have a watermelon scented one so I couldn't resist!  We do cloth diapering so it sounds like it will be good.  Just curious if anyone is familiar with this brand.

(I haven't educated myself enough to make my own laundry soap yet..  it was the watermelon thing that sold me, ironically)..

  • Yup!  My review is here.  You can also enter for a chance to win a bag right there on my blog!  :)

I LOVE the watermelon one!  My friend lives and breaths Rockin' Green with both her CD and clothes laundry.  It's awesome.  I really like it.  I'm going to stick with Clean B detergent just because it's a little cheaper and the scents are more my style, but I do love my Rockin' Green!

  • I use it on our cloth diapers. The Hard Rock is the only thing that really works for us on those. Unfortunately, it's too expensive to use on all our laundry, so I use the EF stuff from Costco

  • We love it too. Works great for cloth diapers. We have hard water and the Hard Rock does the trick.
  • I wish I could say that we love it. We had build up issues with it on our diapers which caused a horrible rash that then got infected.

There's been a recall on several bags that had a mixing error.  Is it possible that this was the case with your bag?  If so, you can get a replacement from the company.

  • I first used it when she first opened shop. I hosted one of her first giveaways on my blog. However, when I compare it to other soaps, the scent does not last long, and it gave my daughter diaper rash when I used it on her cloth diapers.

For soap, it's fine. For diapers, I can't recommend it. I've had much better luck with Crunchy Clean - the scent doesn't disappear, and I've never had any skin issues with that.

For us, the rash happened about 9 months to a year ago, long before the recalled bags.
