You can rate posts by giving stars. When you open a post, look right by the topic at the top and you'll see it.

Apparently, some douchebag has been giving out 1-stars to our girls, so I thought I'd release the phishing pole and see if anyone bites.

I don't like it when people hurt my fellow Nesties' feelings! I feel like I'm in the movie Gran Tarino and the lawn is our nest..."get off my lawn!"

It's not all the same person, because I have done it a couple times but not enough for the major flipping out that is going on around here.

When I go back to the main page I don't hit the back button, I hit the June 2010 or All Boards clicky on the top of the page. Sometimes I fumble on my laptop and star posts on accident. I have also accidentally five starred posts too though!

At the end of the day tho, I don't really see what the big deal is. People have one starred my posts before, I didn't lose any sleep at night.

I don't see what the big deal is either. I have noticed them but thought it was something TN controls depending on the number of responses or whatever.

I don't care, I was just being silly...that's all. I didn't notice the 1-star posts myself, but after reading a few of the posts I thought I'd ham it up.

LCA - I won't go waiving a gun or anything like that...they're just scare tactics. You know, with that creepy, mean voice he had going.

Umm...for the record, this was a 5-star post yesterday and now it's only 3-stars. Muhahahahahaha!

Well, that might not be too far from reality. I live in the HOOD and now that we can own handguns in Chicago, I might just walk down my street with my weapon on my hip and walk up to the gang-bangers and ask them if they have a problem.

This could totally be me too I have no idea. I'm paranoid about it now haha. So if somehow I have been doing this I apologize and do not mean anything by it! Is there a way to tell who is doing it?

I've only seen one post, I think, that had one star? Maybe I'm not re-checking them after our vandal runs through.

But like some of the other ladies, I don't get what the big whoop is? We're adults. While the bandit is likely an adult, we can't control their mis-star checking tendencies. We can control our reactions to it.

I don't care if someone clicks one star on my post. It doesn't bother me in the least. To quote a PP, I don't lose sleep over it. :P
