Hi!

Hi Ladies, I'd forgotten my password which is why I've been MIA (but I've been lurking every once in a while and keeping up on FB) I just found my password while cleaning out our "office" (junk room) when I came across my wedding planner, after taking a trip down memory lane I came across my Knot password, so I'm back and boy do I have some news, y'all should probably sit down if you're not already :-)

We found out a few weeks ago that we are expecting a baby #3, Jack and this little one will be 10 months apart, I've only just come to terms with the whole idea and have yet to put anything on FB.  It was more than a surprise as we had decided that 2 was plenty for us and after my pregnancy with Jack I was done.  So 2 under 1 and 3 under 3 here we come.

My Dr. has told me to get what I need to get done now, hence me cleaning out the office b/c she fully anticipates me being back on bed rest although (knock on wood) I feel great at the moment.  We bought a minivan, yup me, driving a minivan and you know, I take back every bad word I ever said about them, I LOVE it.  It's the VW Routan, I love VW so the hit didn't hurt as bad :-)

Other than that I have no other news, Jack is a good boy and Cate is wonderful with him which has made the thought of 3 not so bad.

I'm going back to read some old posts and respond now that I can.  I hope to be on more as the kids are now taking their afternoon naps together.

Re: Hi!

  • Holy crap!  Congrats!  You are a MUCH stronger woman than I.  I'm pretty sure 3 under 3 would be way too much for me to handle!

  • I am so excited for you Caro!!! Congrats!!!!!!
  • Thanks girls, wow along with a few other words is still how I feel.  Please don't get me wrong, I'm excited but the whole thought is still a little overwhelming.

We find out next month what we are having after that I can start to plan the rooms, my thought was to move Cate into the now office and make her room the playroom b/c it's larger than the other two and I'm sick of looking at toys in the living room.  If we have a girl though, that room will stay as it is and they will share a room when the baby is a little older.  If it's a boy, they will share a room from the get go.

We somehow managed to get pregnant 6 weeks post postpartum, I was on the pill and still hadn't had a period, apparently that doesn't mean you can't get pregnant, it also goes to show that I didn't pay very much attention in sex ed Wink

  • At least no matter what sex the baby is you will have plenty of stuff!

  • I about fell over when I read this!! how exciting (even if unexpected). I'm sure it's all a little overwhelming! sending lots of ~happy healthy pregnancy~ vibes your way. You do make beautiful children ;) what's one more right? my boys are 16 months apart and I wouldn't change it for the world, they're best friends. Hopefully your little ones will be the same. Cate seems like such a good big sister and I'm sure Jack will make a wonderful big brother.

If only this were true, when I was having Jack two of my girlfriends were having girls, so they got a lot of Cate's stuff, not that they wouldn't give it back but I also consigned all of her baby stuff.

  • Caro!!! Congratulations!!! What wonderful news! Wow what a shocker...but so glad you came to fill us in :)
