i'm a little in shock this morning. last year's big friend news was my friend that got KTFU then moved to hawaii (thank god that story ended happily ever after). and now our other best friend (we're sort of a friendship threesome) just updated her blog announcing a March baby. the shock ... she's a missionary in Africa, no boyfriend (that i know of), and she's now coming home suddenly b/c of pregnancy. so my mind is speculating due to the lack of info. although she did say that this isn't the result of someone harming her (she lives in a dangerous area).

    Woh!  I can just imagine the amount of questions you have for her.  I would definitely be in shock too!  Did she seem happy about the pregnancy?  Or did it seem like she was in shock as well?

    her blog statement was very non-emotional. she's a very spiritual person, so she said she was praying for forgiveness from family and god. that's just who she is though. i would imagine that she's scared. but the sudden departure from Africa leaves me thinking that she won't be having a relationship with the father. again ... i don't know. i just feel bad for her right now.

    yeah, i am surprised that she announced that on a blog. but she has limited communication, and i wonder if she'd just rather blurt it out than bottle it up. i really just don't know and can't wait to hear about it.

    and hopefully the situation isn't bad in any way for your friend!

    maybe it's just unsafe to be pregnant (with a immune system susceptible to more things) while in her situation and she's just making a health decision
