So I let slip to DH about the Great Hawaii GTG in 2013...
...and he said it's cool as long as all of the husbands can rent classic convertble muscle cars and do a road trip around the island (Oahu, right?) and have a boys' night out at the Yard House.
I think he has wistful dreams of a reenactment of The Hangover in Hawaii...

I am going to a low key winery bachelorette one night next weekend and he (with a straight face) said oh, that's nice I bet Jack will like being outdoors. uhhh, what?! Then he looked up and was like oooohhhhh, you mean he will stay here with me? ummm, yeah.
LOL!! True enough, it seems sooo far away but if we plan it, it will happen right?

I haven't told my hubby yet either. But, we decided to go back to hawaii during our five year anniversary, which will be in 2013! So hopefully we can get it to work!
Ha ha! J would SO be down for that! LOL...
So, are we gonna commit and do this? It would give us three years to plan (from this November)...

I'm in - seriously, I am! I doubt we'll be taking any large vacations before then, so this one would be awesome.
I'm already working on figuring out the logistics of traveling with the boys for such a long time (we'd probably make it a ~3 week trip and swing by LA to see family etc as well).
Yes, I am totally that lame girl that just invited herself to your Hawaii vacation. hehe
How weird - where were you when we first talked about it? Anyway, Lori had(has?) a work trip planned for HI in Nov 2013, so we were joking about doing a big GTG...but then some of us thought, "Hey - why not REALLY do it?" and I think we're trying to decide if we're serious now. I am.
