so DH hasn't been feeling well.
yesterday, his ankle swelled up, with a rash.
He's feeling worse. We decide to call an advice nurse, who tells him that with his symptoms he should get into an ER and be seen today.
Go out to the car to take him to the ER to discover that my baby-bag (with my debit card, drivers' license and cell phone in it) has been stolen from my car, along with my IPod.
Apparently, DH was feeling so crappy yesterday he forgot to lock the car while I was transporting baby...
Grrrrr.
So, now, he's at the hospital. I left him there so I could come home and let her take a nap (besides it all, she was way too cranky to sleep at the hospital)... I'm waiting for a friend to come over so that she can watch DD so I can get back to the hospital. Meanwhile, I'm using DH's cell phone to call everywhere and cancel my stuff.
Want to be mad at him for leaving my car open, but the guy's in the ER on IV antibiotics.
GRRRRRRR.

Re: NER: talk me down... worst freaking morning!!!
Wow I'm sorry. ?That's some shit!
?At the risk of sounding at all insensitive, how many songs were on the ipod??
UGHHH
That's terrible! Once your H is all healthy and feeling better, be sure to kick him in the butt!!
Sorry about your stuff.
(((Big hugs))) I am so sorry you are having a crappy day
?
?
Please keep us updated on your Dh's condition. I hope he feels better soon!?
the IPod was a 60 Gig, it was about 3/4 full... 13,000 songs or so.
We have them all on our hard drive - DH has an IPod that's got identical stuff on it... so we didn't lose the music, just the physical IPod..
It just feels dirty. My digital camera was in there - there were pics of DD, and the IPod had our wedding pics on it. It's not that the images aren't elsewhere (there were probably a weeks worth of pics of DD, not a whole lot), but it feels icky that somebody who would do that has my name (from the drivers license) and pics of me, DH and DD.
DD is fine... he was diagnosed with cellulosis (?) - - just a weird-ass infection. His ankle is all red and swolen. Nasty. He got IV antibiotics and an ultrasound to be sure he didn't have a blood clot. No clot. The antibiotics seem to be working fine. I have to go and get him a buncha perscriptions now.
I am the 99%.
Yuck! I'm sorry about your lousy day. I hope you can get some rest and a little respite from thinking about those creeps with their hands on your stuff!
My sister's car was stolen, then found, then stolen again in Dallas. I know she felt the same kind of violation you did. It's just not right.
I'm glad everyone is safe, and that your hubs is gonna be ok. Sounds like you could use a nice bottle of wine tonight!
