Sangria Recipe

Goldgold said something about sangria in jehawley's HM post and it made me want sangria.  Who has a good recipe??

  • My girlfriend has made this a few times.. It's so good!! Winter White Sangria

    1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry white wine

    1/4 cup brandy

    1/4 cup white sugar

    ice

    4 slices lime

    4 slices lemon

    4 slices green apples

    1 bunch green grapes

    1 cup club soda

    Combine white wine, brandy, and sugar in a large pitcher, then stir in ice. Continue stirring until the sugar is dissolved, then add the lime, lemon, apples, and grapes. Stir in the club soda.

     

     

    Anniversary
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 (750 ml) bottle white wine
    • 1 cup orange liqueur (Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
    • 1/2 cup lemon juice
    • 4 kiwis, peeled and cut in thin slices 
    • 2 green apples with skin, cored and thinly sliced
    • 1 peach with skin, thinly sliced
    • 1 bottle soda water (1 liter)
    • Ice cubes

    A small saucepan, heat the water, add the sugar and stir to dissolve to make a simple syrup.

     

    In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, orange liqueur,  lemon juice,  kiwis, apples and peaches. Add the simple syrup, the soda water and the ice. Stir and serve.
