Does anyone else hate when you call a company and their phone tree makes you talk to it? I never get to the correct place. I don't know why I try every time instead of just pressing 0. I guess I'm an optimist. Stupid TWC.
Re: Calling customer service
Yes, it bugs me too. That's why I love this site.
Either that or I start slowly chanting, "Operator...representative..." One of those two key words usualy works.
Laud--you are really a wealth of information. Thank you for this little piece of gold!!
My peeve about calling customer service is when they have you punch in your account number "to better serve you" and then, once you finally do reach someone, 9 times out of 10 the first thing they ask you is "what is your account number?" Because remembering 20 different 10 digit account numbers is what I do at home for fun, right? Why did you have me enter it if you need me to repeat it??
LMAO. That's great, that's just great... That got me smiling after that annoying call. Thanks!
OOh yeah! It is sooo annoying. I tried to call the social security office and everytime I would say my answer it would not understand me. And of course it did not have to where you can push a number for your answer either. I spent 30 minutes trying to get in touch with a representative, and then they couldn't even answer my question!
