I do too. Mostly because I just can't wrap my head around being in a committed relationship and still going out for some strange. I just don't see how it will work long-term.
I'm pretty sure that the post is MUD, but it's still entertaining and makes me so thankful for my committed, trainwreck-free relationship.
Meredith, I'm sure the girl in your post was nice and probably really informative. I think it's people like this Relationships poster show how messed up it can be when you're not mature about your relationships.
Don't forget "interesting". She and her BF broke up and her DH consoled her. Wish you read that thread don't ya?
The thread you posted was hard to read. I don't understand the concept of wanting to suck two d!cks.
We have friends that are in an open marriage. He's a PhD and travels all over the world for work, she has a Master's. They're both professionals over the age of 40 and they have two young girls.
Everything was going relatively smoothly until the wife got into a relationship with the husband of another couple they're friends with. That husband's wife is a co-worker of the PhD and also pregnant. My friend's wife and the other husband eventually began an "emotional relationship" and that's where things went downhill.
They started crossing the boundaries originally set by both couples (unprotected sex, anal, etc.) and started lying about time together.
Now both marriages are in shambles and there are children involved. It's been tough to watch.
