Restaurants at Austin Bergstrom?
Odd question, so I thought I would ask here!
We have an early flight Saturday morning (8:30am) and I wanted to make sure that some of the restaurants would be open that early. We were planning on getting there then grabbing breakfast tacos from Salt Lick or Maudies, but then I realized that I should make sure they are open that early so we don't get there and then don't have any food before our flight.
Anyone know? Or know what number to call to find out? I tried looking for the number online to either of those places, but couldn't find it.

Lots of places are open - Salt Lick and Maudie's usually have some breakfast tacos going, though the coffee/pastry shop across gate 14 is always an option too (though not as good).
I've spent waaay too much time at that airport.
That early on Saturday? I mean IMO, it would be stupid not to be, but there are lots of things that I think would be logical at the airport that aren't (for example, I can take my 10 inch pointed metal knitting needles but not my nail clippers.)
I don't know for sure about salt lick/maudies, my guess would be no, but some of the coffee places sell breakfast tacos. the one closest to the southwest terminals definitely does.
I, too, spend WAY too much time at that farking airport. ;(
Yup - I'm pretty sure they open at 6:30 or 7.

Most of the places open at 6AM regardless of day. Salt lick for some reason opens later than most - and it seems to vary.
I usually go to Maudie's (you can get 2 tacos for the price of 1) . . . and like PP mentioned, there's also tacos at a little stand behind that big coffee shop. If Im in a hurry I run over there and grab a water and taco from that stand.
I'm guessing after around 7am Salt Lick should be open too. . . I'm usually there for flights before 7 am, so its slimmer pickings
