Doggy dentist

Tigger needs his teeth cleaned because his breath is starting to smell. I bought a toothbrush and toothpaste at Petsmart for him but I think it's time for the dentist. Anyone know a good vet that does teeth cleaning for under $375?

Re: Doggy dentist

  • Blackie gets his teeth cleaned once a year, but he's on a plan with Banfield, so it's covered. Check with them though--I want to say they're way less than $375. He goes to the one at 63rd and May, and I love them. Have not yet had an experience with the I-240 or the Moore ones.

  • Molly has had her teeth cleaned at our vet's (Roserock in Norman) before and they have always done a great job. It's been awhile so I can't really remember how much it was but I know it wasn't $375.

**Thanks for posting this it reminds me that I need to get her in again really soon**

  • Geez, I would think any vet you go to would be way less than $375.  Sorry, I have no recs in your area, but I'm sure the other girls do.
  • The basic cost at my vet is $180.  Extractions are extra but I want to say $10 or $15 each.  I really need to suck it up and have Plump's done, I just don't want to put him under, he is getting so old!

I love my vets office, Britton Road Vet clinic.  It doesn't look like much but Dr. H and Dr. R are fabulous!

That's why I thought my Vet was nuts. I love my dog but I don't even pay $375 to get my teeth cleaned. I called around and the cheapest I've found is Bri's place and it is $125. I'm nervous about putting him under because he's small but it has to be done.
