Can we do this a day early? I really need it.
the word whatnot drives me crazy especially when people use it in a serious setting, like a business meeting or in an NPR interview... what does it even MEAN?
people who use "I's" as a personal possesive. It's "My and Johnny's" or even better, "Our". Definitely NOT "Johnny and I's". Shudder.
people who put the volume way up on their cell phone ringer and then abandon the phone at their desk. extra negative points if the ring tone is an obnoxious hip hop song.
people who drive house-sized SUVs and then cop an attitude about how other people don't park close enough together to leave an extra parking space (there'd be room to park if you drove a vehicle of normal proportions!)
snarky seminarians. really, being a smartass is NOT the best way to get young people back to the church. you just sound bitter. man of god + mean... does not compute.

In an almost related story, I got flipped off by a guy in a mini-cooper this morning. Somehow, I didn't feel threatened...
So, we're leaving for vacation on Saturday. My parents rented a big beach out in Myrtle Beach and we're ALL going. It's my parents, sister and BIL and their LO, and DH and I. I love my family - even if my sister drives me crazy (that's a whole other FFC). Vacations are supposed to be relaxing and I have a feeling this won't be. My neice is just shy of 7 months and the cutest thing ever, but having a baby on vacation isn't really going to make this a vacation. Don't get me wrong, I love her to death, but all I want to do is sit on the beach for a week and not move - I know I won't be able to or I will be made to feel bad because I'm not with her all the time watching her do this and watching her do that. She's 7 months old...she doesn't do much....her mother (my sister) doesn't do much either. Luckily DH will be there and will be my only saving grace.
I don't want to sound bitter or anything because we're still going to the beach for a week. Sorry this was a little whiney. k...i'm dont now.
I think Ke$ha is a dirty skank and her songs make me wish I was deaf!
