WWYD- re putting house on the market
This is a bit long, so I apolgize in advance.
DH and were tenatively house hunting. We found a home we LOVE that is within our price point. That being said we also really like our house now, it's just I moved into his house, and although we've done a lot to it, it would be nice to have a house that we start out in together.
Okay here's where the problem comes in, in the past there have been a few drainage issuses with our street when we have exceptionally heavy rains. Hasn't happened in over year since some new construction took place right outside the neighborhood. However the city is going to install new drainage pipes in our street and run them to the neighborhood pond which is behind our house. Meaning they'll be tearing up between our yard and the neighbors. It was supposed to happen in July, but you know how government is....it is now going to be done in the next 60-90 days. 
Would you go ahead and put your house on the market or would you wait till it's all done, and risk the house you want being sold in the interim.
I just don't know if anyone will be interested in buying ours knowing that's going to happen.
