Morning!
I'm not a regular here but I pop in from time to time and you ladies always seem to have great answers. MH and I just recently came out that we are expecting in January. Yay! We also know that we will need either full-time or part-time daycare depending on how flexible my employer will be. I've been searching online for in-home daycare as we'd like something a little more budget friendly and I haven't been able to find much in our area. We live in the Alger Heights area and I work near the airport so anything in between those two would be a great location. Any help would be great!
Wow! That turned out to be kinda long, sorry.

Re: Daycares in GR (SE area)
Whoo hoo! Congrats. There must be something in Alger Heights water. We went to the community party last night and I swear 75% of the women there were pg or had newborns.
I know of a home daycare off Easter near 52nd. It is a friend of a friend, so I know nothing about this person. I can track down the info.
I've noticed alot of pregnant women in the area as well as newborns as well. I figured that it was always this way, and I was just noticing now because I'm one of them.
I'd love any additional info that you might have. Thanks!
We are due January 23rd. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for minimal snow this year.
I think it made Brian a little nervous that i was noticing all the pregnant ladies, that I would come down with baby fever and want a third. Maybe a little scare will bet him moving to do his part for us not to have number 3.
lol

whoops. meant to say "get" him moving.
That's funny! A lil' scare tactic never hurt anyone.
Congrats! We're in Alger Heights, too. DS goes to A Place to Grow off Burton/Forest Hill--not too inconvenient for the airport. He's a part-timer.

GRKaters and a few other girls use my daycare (A Place to Grow) but as of right now we do not have any openings.Good to know! Glad your business is booming!
Yes...in a way it's good...in a way it's not. We just had to tell one of our families that we can't take their newborn next year.
