  I am soooooooo glad the 2 nights of performances we did for DH's theatre company are *over*! I really don't know if i'm ever going to act again.

  DH is going to a bar with friends tonight, to celebrate his bday.  I really don't care either way, and kind of like being alone for the evening, but I pretended to be irritated that he was going because i want him to feel guilty for leaving his 9 months pg wife at home alone on a Friday evening :-)

  I am visiting friends, two who are getting married this weekend.  We have a bunch of things planned where we are going out to all these places that we have to drive to get there.  I hate that no one has been responsible about planning ahead for designated drivers.  Last night, I purposely drove because I knew there would be no safe way for me to get back to the hotel otherwise.  I had one beer with dinner but didn't drink at all at the bar we went to afterward.  I left the bar a bit early (at 12:30 at night, so not like grandma-early) and I was the only one fit to drive.  Everyone was drinking heavily.  I don't even want to know how everyone else got home. Plus, the wedding venue is about 20 minutes away and the couple have made no arrangements for safe transportation.  It makes me a bit ill that my friends don't care about these things.  Guess I'm going to be designated driver all weekend.

  I'm not convinced that MIL really misunderstood me when I told her we wanted to get DD a play kitchen for her birthday, like she claims she did. I'm half convinced that she did this on purpose to "one up" me or something. And I'm annoyed with myself for letting this get to me, so I'm choosing to be the bigger person and let this one go. However, I fully plan on mentioning to her that I was upset over this. This is kinda pathetic, but she drives me batty sometimes.
