  • Yeah, me! And Betsy too. News? I'm sick. All. The. Freakin. Time. Nothing is settling nice is my stomach. I had to call into work Wednesday because nothing stayed down until Don came home with Mrs. Grass chicken soup. Mmmm, soup. I told my bosses, since it's getting hard to pass off my sickness as "something going around", since nobody else is sick anymore, lol. But this is how my doc likes her patients, sick as dogs, it means I'm growing a healthy baby in her view. So ok, ha. Both Don and my mom have been constantly checking on me, making sure I feel ok and am eating. Not sure how to handle my mom's enthusiasm, as she always said to me when I would talk about my future kids "I'll be dead before then". But I'll take the change of heart, just need to get used to it I guess, lol. Nursery theme? Tree tops by Carters. I've been in love with it for almost a year now (since I went shopping for my youngest nephew, sorry can't LIP, on my crackberry). It's perfect for our "hippie" (as I'm called at work) ways. It's domestic animals (owl, fox, squirrel, frog, etc) and it's so freakin cute. Definitely us, as we are nature, camping lovers. I think I want to add cute armadillos to the decor too, since I'm obsessed with cute armadillos, lol. My mom already offered to buy the bedding in a couple months. And I'm going to try to hold off on starting a registry for a couple months. At least until my 12 weeks appt, ha. We're not finding out the gender, so it's not like we have to wait for that to figure out a theme and other things.

LoL! The ONLY way I'm finding out, is if by some way, there turns out to be twins, then I want to know what kind of trouble I'm getting into, haha. So far there's only one. But my mom never saw twins in her sonograms, my parents only found out at the c-section when they pulled out one baby, and there was still one left!
  • OMG Nicole on the c-section and a twin left in there!

Any new news? I find out in exactly ONE WEEK!!! My belly is getting big (although Becky swears its not). I'm trying really hard to focus on next Friday, since Monday is the appeal hearing and I am just getting so nervous and upset whenever I think about it.

Have you started a registry? We're going to this store called Goore's in Sacramento to register right after the big u/s. The store is down the street from the hospital we have to go to. I think we'll hit up Target to register the next day.

Nursery theme, colors, etc? Well, I'm going to have to revamp my original idea since it looks like the nursery will be in a rental house and not in our home here :-(

A girls nursery will still be Paris themed, but instead of black and white bedding, I'm going to do something more colorful, since I won't be relying on the wall color to add a punch.

A boys room will be dogs. I'm going to use this:

  • That's the puppy bedding I wanted but for awhile it was out of stock and I was so :(
  • I saw on Facebook that Heather is PG and she's having a girl "I don't remember her SN but I know she hasn't been around in a while!
  • Any new news?No news I am finally starting to feel beeter and starting to eat again which is nice.I can't wait for my big U/S which should be the week of labor day

Have you started a registry? We have a small one started at Babies R Us and JC Penny's

Nursery theme, colors, etc? We are doing brown and sage green green with elephants. It is by Carters

  • Yes, me! I'm 7 weeks as of today.

We have not started a registry or thought of theme, colors, etc. It's a little too early I think, as we don't want to get our hopes up and have something go wrong.

I do have some news. For all the stuff I am giving up for this child, he/she got me out of something for the first time. We didn't really want to go to the mountains for a family reunion this weekend, and now my mom says I don't have to! Score, I'm really looking forward to relaxing tonight and tomorrow and hosting a shower for SIL on Sunday.

I'm feeling okay. Super hungry, off and on nauseus, and ridiculously thirsty. Anyone else have the unbelievable thirst?
