State College Salons?

Hi All,

Trying to help my friend who is getting married in State College in October.  If anyone got married in the area, can you tell me who you used for hair and makeup?

    The salon I went to has since closed, but I have now discovered a salon I like much better and wish I had used for my wedding.  I go to J Stephens salon pretty regularly for haircuts and pedicures (I've also gotten a manicure there)...I'm not sure if they do makeup or not, but I know they get wedding parties for hair pretty often.  They are on Waddle Road in the Hawbaker building (across from Outback and that group of hotels).

    I got my wedding hair done at Viva Bella in downtown State College (its under the Starbucks on College Ave.) and they did a great job. I loved my wedding hair, which was done by Chrissy. I know they do make-up but I didn't have mine done, but I'm sure they do a great job.

    For my sister's wedding in May we had our hair done at Sheer Spirit in Bellefonte and I liked it there too.

    I didn't have my wedding hair/make-up done in SC, but I go to J Stephens now for haircuts and pedis.   They are awesome.

    I actually had J Stephens Salon do hair and makeup for me and my wedding party for my July 4th Wedding in State College.  They came on location, were completely professional and did a fantastic job. 

    TTC since 05/10

    Dx: PCOS,Hypothyroidism, Endometriosis, elevated prolactin

    Surgery: Laproscopy 12/15/11 to remove Endo, 8/12/11 to remove 7cm cyst and cauterize 4cm cyst

    April 2011 - Clomid 50 mg round 3 - O'd CD 18 BFP 5/2 C/P 5/10

    RE Consult 06/02/11, Sonohystogram - clear, DH SA - great! HSG all Clear.

    Meet up with RE for plan of attack 10/25: 2 natural rounds and then onto clomid

    CD 21 BW shows poor ovulation, November 2011 Clomid 50 mg round 4 - BFP on 11/30 Lilypie First Birthday tickers
