My phone hasn't been getting incoming calls for almost 2 weeks now. I figured that out last weekend and called tmobile support to try and get it fixed. The calls do go to voicemail but the voicemails are taking about 30 mins to show up.
We discovered that it's a problem with my phone and the agent issued an exchange and said that they would ship out a new phone (same model etc.) and I would have it within 3 business days. I just called and was told that the phone is on backorder and I'm looking at waiting a month for a new one. She told me I can go to a store and get a loaner phone but it would be a basic phone. I'm paying $25 a month for my android web service - why would I want a basic phone for a month?
Anyway, should I complain? I paid for the protection plan when I bought the phone so that I would be covered if anything happened. I've done nothing to the phone, it just stopped getting calls one day. Honestly, I think waiting a month for a new phone is absurd and meanwhile I'm getting more text messages from people because they want to get a hold of me right away and I don't have unlimited texting.
WWYD?
Re: Phone problem - wwyd?
I would call and complain.
If you don't mind getting the texts and they really can't get you a new phone for a month, then tell them they need to give you unlimited texting so that at least you can use the phone and people can get a hold of you.
