Tonight (weather permitting) I am surprising DH with a picnic at sunset on the beach. I'm super excited and already planning my menu! I'm thinking:
Pre-sliced cheese & crackers
Mini prosciutto sandwiches
Wine
I'd like some sort of dessert but I can't think of what would be easy and mess-free on the beach. Any ideas?
Re: Picnic!
I would go with a brownie or any type of bar for dessert. You want something that's easy to carry and doesn't use a lot of silverware.
Sounds like fun!

How sweet of you!
I like the idea of the brownies..or if you have time, make some cupcakes.
Hope you two have a wonderful time tonight!
How about strawberries?

That one is AMAZING!! It says you need a canister thing I just use a plastic bag w/ a corner snipped off. You can store them in tupperware and they are OH SO TASTY!
Sounds fun!! And I'm so jealous!! Wish I had a beach out my back door!!
I like Laurie's suggestion of the strawberries. They are also a good aphrodisiac
Question sort of related to this: Are you hoping this will get you in the mood for sex...since you confessed it's been a while? Sorry I'm being nosy!

If this is the case - maybe green M&Ms
(heh, some of you may be too young to get that)
In all seriousness - go with anything that doesn't require a spoon/fork/knife. Brownies, cookies, the strawberry thing Laurie posted looks awesome!
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
First of all those strawberries look delish!
To answer your question --- kind of? I am hoping that will be a positive side effect, but mostly I feel like I've been kind of in a funk lately and DH has been a doll about staying postive and making me smile, so I want to do something nice for him!
So sweet! Mel LIKES this!
