How to get rid of a pink bathroom
Hey ladies, I'm redoing my 1960's pink bathroom and am trying desperately to find a way to donate my tub, shower doors, toilet and sink. While I've found a dozen or so sites dedicated to keeping these things, I have found any on how to get rid of them without sending them to a landfill.
I've queried ReStore, but because there is some minor hard water build up and scuffs, they don't really want them. No one wants the toilet because it's tank is too big.
My only other option is a recycling center and their charges are pretty high for us right now.
Any suggestions?

Re: How to get rid of a pink bathroom
Don't do it! Save the pink bathrooms!
Sorry, I love my pink bathroom.
ETA, also call around to any local theatres and see if they want it for their props stock.
If the bathroom had been in good condition, we probably would have kept it even though it is not my style, but the floor and walls needed to be torn out so we just gutted it. And my amazing H got the tub out whole.
Thanks for the advice, I applied to join freecycle yesterday.
I suggested it because I'm a props master for a theatre and would love a colored set for my stock.
