multiple vacancies at one place?

I'm applying for a job with a non-profit organization.  While looking at the job posting I'm interested in I noticed that I qualify for every position they have posted (it's only 4).

Now I'm really interested in the job posting that brought me to their site, but it happens to be a cause that I strongly support and I would love to work for them no matter what the position.

Should I apply for all the positions at once?  That would mean apply 4 times because each vacancy is being reviewed by a different person.  Or should I wait until I get a yes or no on the one I'm really interested in before applying for the other positions?

If I apply for all of them at once should I note that on my applications at all?  I was thinking that if I don't note it and the people reviewing the applications see my other applications it might make it look like I'm less serious about getting the jobs.

TIA

Re: multiple vacancies at one place?

  • I would apply for one. If you get to the interview stage, note that you would be qualified for more than one position, but focus on one specific position that interests you the most.

  • We have multiple positions open at my agency right now, and I'll be honest with you - when I get an application with more than one position listed on it, I consider them to be "fishing" - applying for everything and anything because they're desperate. I skim those applications, but they go to the bottom of the pile. I'm more interested in a candidate who has a focused interest on a certain position.

     This.

The hiring managers might be different, but at my agency I am the person who screens every. single. resume. So if you apply for every. single. position even though the website says please only submit your resume once, you are only going to annoy me and I will think you cannot read.
