Williams-Sonoma

I have a $50 GC to williams-sonoma (kitchen store). If you had a gc what would you get? Keep in mind that we don't eat any kind of seafood in this house and I rarely fix chicken so any kitchen stuff for that would not be used.

There is so much stuff to choose from I get overwhelmed.

What would you get?

ETA to make sure that you guys knew I was talking about a kitchen store (sorry Caroline about the confusion)

Re: Williams-Sonoma

  • Is your Williams-Sonoma a grocery store? We have one in the mall that's more like a kitchen store and it has a bunch of REALLY nice stuff. They have some great cookbooks and cute little appetizer plates and things that I've seen. If yours doesn't have that sort of stuff, maybe some salami, nice cheese...?
  • Ours is like yours. It is a big kitchen store. I knew they had kitchen stuff for seafood and chicken so that is why I mentioned that.

  • Oohh ok! Yeah, maybe go to the store and see what grabs your attention!
  • I have one of these and love it!  Its nice for family brunches, holidays, and you can make a bunch then reheat them in the over to keep them warm.  You can fill them with just about anything- fruit, lemon curd, cinnamon.  WS has recipes to use the pan too.  Oh, and do not buy their pancake mix, or "pancake tool"  just use chopsticks!

I love when the holidays come around and they have baking stuff specific to a holiday!  I would definitely go into an actual store if you can, to see what they have if anything catches your eye.

WS is super expensive, I daydream and drool over pretty much everything they have.

  • I LOVE WS! My dishes are from there. I love their spoonulas (the spoon/spatula combo)

They also have outlet stores - check and see if there are any near you. They always have the special baking pans there and they are always marked down.

I sent that link to DH for a possible bday gift idea - that is like the coolest pan ever!!

  • I love Williams-Sonoma!!! I use their pop-up sponges and I'm obsessed with them. I get new ones every year for Christmas, because 1 pack lasts about 1 year. I get the large size.
