Re: divorce should be final today

  • Awww so sorry! {{{hugs}}} As much as I wanted it "D-Day" was not easy for me. I felt really sad walking out of the court house and when we went seperate ways ... it was really lonely! LOL  I did have a D-Day party and all was forgotten. My one and only time I think I actually slept on the bathroom floor! HaHa.
  • Oh, I know I will be sad today.  Debated on whether or not mascara was even necessary.  But right now I'm ONE HAPPY BEEOTCH!  And there will be a party--fo sho!

And honestly, I was a wreck all weekend long.  This 'up' won't last long for me.

  • Aw, how did your post make me sad and laugh at the same time!  FB stuff cracks me up... I can't believe he changed his status already.  I hope your doing something for yourself after it's all over.  A nice spa day or something!

  • It sucks and so many people said to me "things happen for a reason" I seriously wanted to kick them. Never in a million trillion years did I think I would be where I am right now!! The crazy part of my story is that I started a new job the week of my divorce. My 1st day in the management training program I couldn't go b/c of court. I showed up the next day and guess who was sitting across the table from me? Ron. LOL .... I didn't like him at first but I guess things do happen for a reason!

  • Well yay and boo....   I'm sure it's nice to have it done with though!!

  • Like pp, I agree it is a yay and boo too. I'm sure you're relieved that the process will be over and you can move on, but it's also sad that something has ended. You have a right to be sad and happy, but don't let the sadness last too long!
