Anyone has ordered custom canvas prints?

I'm thinking about getting one done, but not sure which online vendor is good.  Or should I even try a local store?  Does any one have any experience with that, if so, please share the quality.  The idea sounds so cool and beautiful, but I'm a little hesitant since I don't anyone who's done it.

Thanks!!!

Re: Anyone has ordered custom canvas prints?

  • I put a bunch of our wedding photos on canvas. 5 in total.

I love them! I got mine through costco.com and was really happy with the quality for the price that I paid. Also, mpix.com does wonderful canvas prints. A little more costly, but even better quality.

  • OOOH, costco!  I saw the advertisement at my local store, but forgot to ask for more details.  will definitely check them out!

i'm looking to do a large print to go in our bedroom above the bed.  so definitely want as cheap (but good) as possible!

  • I got some done at a local vendor (Sacramento).  I loved them, and they were very reasonable.  They work with a lot of artists so I bet they work with people out of the area.  I had four 8x10 prints done and mounted for $16 each.  Excellent quality and ready to hang.  If you want their info, I'm happy to get it to you.
  • i got some canvas prints of a few of our wedding pics.  they turned out GORGEOUS. i used an online company..can't remember the the name off the top of my head. the price was great too.

  • I also have one from Costco, and it came out great!  The quality and the service were both excellent.  HTH!

  • mpix.com was recommended by our photographers. I've ordered regular prints and they turned out great.

  • I used Canvas on Demand (http://canvasondemand.com/) for ours and they came out great! If you sign up for their site, they send coupons and such.
  • I'm not sure if you've already found a solution or not, but thought I'd throw this out there...

I actually own and operate a small giclee print shop in Mesa, AZ.  We specialize in canvas printing.  Large or small.  Our prices are pretty reasonable compared to most other online print shops.  Quality is excellent - 100% archival materials. Our turnaround time is great, and because I'm the owner, you'll always work directly with me, so service will be second to none.  If you still need canvas prints done and you have any questions at all about the process, prices, sizes, etc.. don't hesitate to contact me at any time.  You can call me at 623-204-7516 or e-mail me at favillephoto@gmail.com.  For more information, you can visit www.favillephoto.com

Thanks for your time.  Hope this helps.
