How Many Times Have You Seen DH Cry?
I saw this on another board and it was interesting... list how many years you have known DH and how many times you have seen him cry. Reasons why are optional.

Re: How Many Times Have You Seen DH Cry?
I've known DH for a little over 6 years now and I've seen him cry once... at our wedding. Aww... If you could welling up but not actual tears, he did that when he proposed. I know he cried real tears when his Grandma died (right when we first started dating), but I didn't see it. So I guess my total is 1.
I've seen him cry a handful of times. His dad passed away when he was 20...20 year old men don't really share emotions and with something that big he kept it in. He has been able to let it out more and cry about it.
Once we got in a MASSIVE argument a few years ago and I was fed up and he thought he was going to lose me so he broke down.
He got a little teary eyed at our wedding too ,,,at first because I talked on and on about how I was going to cry my eyes out and when it came time I didn't cry so he was nervous as to why i wasn't crying, and then during the ceremony with our vows

I've known DH about 15 years but we weren't super close until we started dating (almost 5 years ago).
Over those 5 years he's gotten "watery eyes" a several times (people moving away, meeting kids with wack home situations, etc...), but the times I've seen full on tears were when his BFF got married, when his sister got married (he officiated and cried the whole time), and when we got married. I guess special weddings really touch his heart.
MY BLOG!
DH is definitely not a crier. He'll get a little misty sometimes, but the only times I can really remember him actually crying are when he proposed and when he first heard Liam's heartbeat and at our 20 week ultrasound when he actually looked like a little person rather than the blob he was at 6 weeks!
He is definitely more of a happy crier than a sad crier. He had a pretty tough childhood, so I think he has different methods of managing sadness.

34 years...and I can divide it into two groupings:
When Heather was born, when his mom died, when we dropped Heather in North Carolina for college and drove away, and when Heather got married.
Second grouping is illness. He has something called factor 5 and has had 7 heart attacks, a stroke, and countless vein procedures. He has cried there when he was afraid.
It has to be something big
DH and I have been together for 3 years (we met on eHarmony, and it only took us a couple of weeks of dating to realize we were it for each other), and I've seen him cry a lot. LOL I have a sensitive DH.
Most of it is for movies - The Orphanage (surprise cry there for both of us), and some other sappy movies that we've watched together.
Another was on the day he proposed - it snowed that day, and he said that he had prayed, wanting a sign that asking me to marry him was the right thing to do. When it snowed, he took that as his sign that it was right.
Also, when his dad was making a speech (something he does often - it's a bit weird) about his (FILs) parents dying, and how much he missed them, and DH got very weepy.
Another time was when our parents were talking about how we were meant to be, and how great we are together - it just got him all choked up.
