Hello Lovlies!
How was everyone's weekend? Did you do anything fabulous, boring, extraordinary, etc?
We did NOTHING on Saturday which was bliss. Then yesterday we went to church with Brooks for the first time. It was so nice to sing again. Then we went hiking and took a picnic. That did me in.

Thursday night we went to Bonefish Grill with hubby's boss. Friday night we went to Coyote Blues to celebrate my birthday just hubby and me (since everyone would be over on Saturday).
Saturday hubby got up really early to do his run (he's training for a marathon). When he got back with my breakfast from Burger King, he gave me my new pearl earrings he bought me. My in laws and my best friend came in to barbeque for my birthday. After everyone left we headed to buy our new bikes. DH and I are trying to include more "active" activities to participate together in. Saturday evening we headed over to Lake Charles to celebrate the birthday with our other friends. We ended up going to this amazing irish pub that recently opened in downtown Lake Charles. If you're ever in town, try McFarlane's on Ann St. Awesome! Then we went to a comedy show. Hubby's friend was in town from LA doing a few shows in her hometown. I scored a signed tshirt for my birthday!
Sunday, our friend took me out for an hour long massage at the casino spa while DH played golf. Finally yesterday evening we went to take pictures (holy humidity batman) since we haven't had professional pictures done since our wedding almost 3 years ago.

Friday night I just hung out at home and played with Elise. Saturday DH went do a pond installation in DeRidder and stayed there overnight and all day Sunday, so Saturday night Elise and I went to a friend's house for bbq and Sunday we went out for Mexican with another friend from the Mom's club and her kiddos.

Friday night I went to the Balloon festival.
Saturday my parrain came in town so spent the afternoon with him. Went to lunch at Bravo's and I got my California burger fix. Which was great!! they went to the Hospital a friend of the hubbs and I had there first child on Thursday so we went see the baby!!!
Sunday, went shopping for my brothers Honey-do Shower present.. Went to the funeral for the babies.. Which was absolutely horrible!!! And after that went eat rice and gravy at my parents house.
It was a pretty good weekend if only the funeral wasnt there it would have been a good one!!
I've been to a funeral for a 3yo before - the worst thing ever. So sorry Nikki
