? for our realtors

DH has been thinking about making a career change. He is considering a few options, one of which is becoming a realtor. I think he would be great at it. We are not even sure where to begin looking into where you would go to school, how much time it would take before you can start practicing/earning money. Also, and pros/cons to the career that you would like to share would be SUPER helpful.

Feel free to email me if you don't want to post on the board michelleaxo at aol dot com. TIA!

Re: ? for our realtors

  • I'm not a realtor myself, but a co-worker of mine was able to get her license while working. She took classes at night. I don't think it took her more than a year before she could sit for the test. Once he gets licensed, he'll have to find a company to work for and kinda start from the bottom up. My father's hygenist also worked as a realtor PT for several years before she did well enough to quit the job at the dentists. It takes some time, but not impossible.

     GL to him!
