Busy
Friday- I spent the day with my mom, went out to lunch and shopping, then went into Philadelphia for dinner with the women I teach dance to
Saturday- Had a bridal shower in the afternoon and just vegged on the couch that night
Sunday- went out for breakfast and fruit shopping with Dave, watched Shutter island, and took a nice long nap
Friday - took Gio to his first county fair
Saturday - shopped for a dress for the christening & hung out at my moms house
Sunday - went to the mall with DH and spent some time together, just us
Friday- hung out with some friends while Chris did his fantasy football picks
Saturday- Got some crabs and had a pool party with some friends
Sunday - Went to breakfast, went to a friends house, then came home and finished the first half of season 5 of Weeds
My poor little guy was with his dad this weekend and came home a tore up mess. He was running and fell on the concrete. He tried to catch himself with his hand and that didnt work. His hand stopped but the rest of his body kept going with no shirt on. Resulting in his hand, arm, leg and chest covered in a nasty nasty road rash. So bad he woke me up at 2:30 for more Tylenol, then 3:30 to wrap his arm back up because he couldnt even lay it down on the bed. He is spending the day at home with my dad, resting up and chillin with all the cats. He will be in heaven today.

Friday night we grilled out and partied it up with the neighbors! They're a BLAST!! and I'm so glad we all get along cause I think we'll be having lots of fun on our street!
Saturday - we woke up waaaay too early for going to be around 4. It was a slow moving morning, which we didn't really have time for. Get ready, head to his parents to drop off Buddy, then to mine to get dressed for the wedding we were attending that afternoon. Wedding till 8, then back to my parents to change, his to pick up the dog, home to bed!
Sunday - I relaxed some, I unpacked and started to hang pictures but realized I do not know where my tools are (in the basement, box not found yet lol) so I gave up on that and headed to the office to get that somewhat unpacked. It was a huge task, and I barely made a dent, but it'll get there eventually. Then, more relaxing for the rest of the night.
Friday I sat at home with T and did nothing which was completely fine by me!
Saturday morning I helped a friend move from one apartment to another and I still feel like my legs and arms may fall off. I am so sore! Did nothing that night but rest.
Sunday I got up and went with my mom to ATL shopping and bought some stuff for Tucker's 1st birthday
It was pretty busy
Friday went to dinner at BIL and SIL house. Came home and crashed!
Saturday Went for a run but I waited too late in the morning at it was freakin hot. Did some chores around the house, ran a few errands, went to my moms and ran a few more errands with her. Came home, cooked dinner, and hung out with some neighbors.
Yesterday Was our company picnic that I was in charge of. Went to the liquor store to pick up the keg, got to the park and set up, then chilled and ate some awesome BBQ and drank a little too much beer. I'm exhausted this morning.
It was great! DH came home Thursday night, so I pretty much got an extra day with him (except he ran errands in the morning and had to do some work from home)
Friday we went and registered at Target. It was a lot of fun! We attempted to make the BBQ pizza and the dough burnt up. We decided it was just a bad dough, one I've been buying from Trader Joe's that we've never had a lot of success with. So we went out and bought a bobili to finish the pizza on the grill and it was yummo!
Saturday we went to the foothills to pick up our wine club shipment. On the way back we stopped at BRU to get a baby shower gift for my cousin and had lunch. Then we went to a backyard store that was having a clearance to see if we could find any good deals, and we couldn't. We just vegged on the couch Saturday night.
Sunday we cleaned the house and just hung out. I got back into a book I had been reading.
All in all, it was relaxing and great to just be with DH.
It was pretty good. It started out bad because my flight was delayed for 2.5 hours on Friday. So I got into Atlanta late. We hung out a bit when I got there, but then we went to bed.
Saturday we did the CNN tour which was really interesting. Then we went out to eat and danced the night away. We got back in to the hotel at like 3 am. I slept for 4 hours and then got back on another delayed plane (this time only 40 minutes) and got back to DC at 12:20ish. It was fast, but fun.
I'm glad you had a good time! I'm sooooo sorry I never responded to your post with recommendations. I actually randomly thought of it today and then when I read your post I had to slap myself in the forehead.

Lol, don't worry about it! That was during the time you had your goddaughter with you and other family members coming in and out, so I know you were super busy. No worries.
