Monster 2nd birthday party ideas
My daughter's second birthday party (at the end of Oct) is going to be monster themed. I have googled the heck out of it, and have come up with some great idea from there and on my own. I bought a lot of different favors and decorate your own monster things already.
Anyone have any other ideas or examples of Monster parties? Thanks!
Re: Monster 2nd birthday party ideas
What ideas have you come up so we don't repeat what you have already thought of?
I already know what I want the cake to look like and have already started planning on HOW I am going to bake it.
Michael's had some monster things out in their dollar section a couple months ago, so I bought a bunch of things as far as favors go, including these cute felt monster bags.
The colors are orange, pink, green and purple. So, I have some orange table cloths left over from last year. I was going to get a purple one to cut up as table runners.
As far as activities go, I have a monster craft that the kids can decorate with stickers. So, I need a few other activities and games.
I wanted to do a candy buffet, but I want to name the candy some different monster like names. So, I need ideas for that.
Also, I need just some other general decorating ideas.

For decor you can use round paper lanterns and cut out one big eye ball out of paper and stick it on the lantern. use crepe paper to make legs and more paper cut outs for the feet.
There are usually some really cute monster-type things at Target as soon as they put their Halloween stuff out. For monster mouths, you can use apples cut in 1/2 & then put almond slivers in like this:
Or monster eyeball cookies like this:
Thanks for all the ideas! JJ'sbride, I love your party!
