We have not come up with a menu yet this week and I am looking for inspiration.
Re: What's For Dinner?
Tonight: Matzo ball soup (homemade, yum!)
Tomorrow: Falafel pitas w/ hummus, tahini, veggies (the works)
Wednesday: Not sure... I'm kind of in the mood for mac 'n cheese.
Thursday: Spaghetti w/ meatballs and mixed veggies
Friday: Going out... probably to Chilis
Saturday: Avocado salad (avocado, onion, canola oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper... tastes way better than it sounds)
We'll also be having a steak stir fry, general tso's wings and a frozen pizza!
Tonight I bought a rotisserie chicken from Costco (YUM!), boiled come red potatoes and heated up some peas.
I think tomorrow is going to be spaghetti with meat sauce (bought ground turkey for the healthiness!).
The rest of the week is TBD., depends if DH is sent out of town.
Last night: zucchini cakes, mac and cheese

Wednesday - I'm thinking fish, sauteed zucchini and roasted potatoes
Thursday - gym night so DH and I are on our own.
Friday - probably grilled chicken, green beans and brown rice
Last night I had a ham sandwich on a pretzel roll (my favorite sandwich!)
Tonight: Clean Eating Chicken with Cashew nuts
Wednesday: Probably some kind of pork chops
Thursday: Maybe some kind of homemade pizza?
Friday: No idea
I have to admit, I'm not really a meal planner. But I'm trying to do at least one new recipe a week.
I'm only cooking twice this week. Sunday we grilled chicken & corn with salad and yesterday I made Penne al Vodka with salad. We'll have leftovers tonight & tomorrow and we're traveling thursday-sunday so we'll be grabbing food out the rest of the time.
Last night I made strip steaks with roasted potatoes and green beans. Yum-o!
Tonight: Salmon pinwheels, more roasted potatoes and broccoli
Wed: lettuce wraps and I'm not sure what else
Thurs: TBD
Friday: prob taco night!
I'm such a bad planner of food.
We're making out own rendition of the taco bell "cheesy potato burrito" tonight, DH loves them so I thought we could recreate them at home and maybe they'll be slightly more healthy.
We make a pork tenderloin Sunday and have leftovers from that as well as the fruit pizza we made for dessert
and for the rest, we'll play it by ear!
We are trying to eat out of the freezer this week since we'll be heading to the beach on Sunday.
