Speaking of privates, I'm getting laser hair removal

I had my consultation yesterday.

It was almost like therapy, discussing the years of battle with my bikini line, the inability to go swimming whenever I want, the pain of ingrowns. I'm so happy to finally get rid of my werewolfy inner thighs!  I am supposed to shave whatever I want treated.  I don't think I want to go in TOO far, but then I think, "while I'm at it...."

So I could also get my chin done, but it's still like $100 per treatment.  I was like SH!T, you couldn't just throw it in?  But I do have about 12 pluckworthy hairs at this point.  What's a girl to do?  I wonder if I could get the 'stache thrown in with that hundo.

  • $100 per treatment, eh? How many sessions will you need?

  • I would probably only do it once and cross my fingers and hope for the best.  Even if they didn't all go away, if I only had half as many to pluck, life would be easier.

If I was loaded, I would be having a Heidi Montag experience with hair removal right now.  I would even have my hair line cleaned up and get the frizzies zapped.  And my arms...I would love to never have to bleach my arm hair again.

  • A friend of mine had pretty much all of her unwanted hair lasered off - she did her face, arms, underarms, legs, and bikini.  She still has to shave, but only like once every few weeks.  I'm jealous.  I went to her dermatologist for a consult and he said it wouldn't work on me and would be a tremendous waste of money  - apparently it works best when you are fair skinned with dark hair.  My body hair is pretty much all blond.

That makes me so sad. I've been having really horrible hair issues lately. (I think it could be related to a thyroid problem/PCOS but my doctor isn't sure and I haven't been able to find another for a 2nd opinion.)  My hair is mostly light and blonde. I'm shaving my legs and getting stubble less than 8 hours later, and it would be worth it to save the $ on razors alone at this point.

  • I got my underarms done, but I did about 6 sessions and it still isn't fully gone.  It's definitely less and I have to shanve less, but I don't think one session would have done much.

Hmmm...this makes me a prime candidate. Not only do I have ghostly white skin and black leg hair, it's also very thick and grows really quickly.

  • I really want to do this but I just can't convince myself to drop the cash necessary.  I'm not that hairy, thankfully, but I cannot shave without getting a ton of ingrowns and I'm too cheap and lazy to get waxed regularly.

  • I am an Eastern European beast.  Dark hair everywhere.  I bet my ass hair is even technically dark enough to laser.  It's not black, but it's a bit beyond peach fuzz.

So has the labia post. Add vaginas to the list of PR approved topics.

  • I had mine done.  I've had 6 treatments and it still isn't gone.  I wouldn't go into thinking one treatment will do much, most people at least need 4 to even see much improvement.
